So Not Me

I checked out Steph's blog today and saw that she had done one of those fun little bloggie personality thingies so I did one too:

Your Birthdate: September 9

You are a born idealist, with more pet causes than you can count.
You prefer be around others, both when working and while relaxing.
Generous and giving, you believe you can change the world one person at a time.
You're open minded and tolerant. People feel like they can tell you anything.

Your strength: Your go-with-the-flow flexibility

Your weakness: Your flair for the over dramatic

Your power color: Pine green

Your power symbol: Circle

Your power month: September

OK, OK. This is not me. I am not go-with-the-flow. I am not an idealist. I like to be alone. Green is not my power color, that would be burgundy or magenta. And a circle? No. I'm a right-angled kind of gal. But the other things are close: I am open-minded, generous and people can tell me anything. And I've been told I can be dramatic ;-)

It's been a while since I posted and I'm feeling guilty. It's the lapsed Catholic in me. The Zippered Cardigan still isn't done but I'm close - I have to sew the zipper and finish the collar. I'm really close! In the meantime I've been totally distracted by knitting for a friend's baby. I was supposed to knit something back in the summer. Doh. The baby is 3 months old now and I'm determined to finish something by Christmas. I've started a very easy cardigan called Baby Baby from Jill Eaton's Minnies using Berroco Plush. This yarn is so incredibly soft, like cat fur or cotton balls. I'll try to post pictures this weekend. Hopefully there will be something to take a photo of.

Until then, here's a fairly recent picture from the archives. A dog day afternoon...

Where you born late at night or early in the morning? Maybe you're a little closer to the day before or the day after? And really, I'm surprised that those things are as accurate as they are - I mean we are talking about a free internet quiz ;-) I love the dog picture - G6? I have some baby knitting to do after Christmas - I think it might be a fun change. Who knows.

I have checked my birthday and Husband's ... and ours turned out to be exactly the same ... why? We were born on the same day of different months. So, my conclusion is this thing uses the days of a month for the content.

i never believe any of these silly online quizzes - although they are fun and i've taken a million of them and will continue to take them. =) here are my results:
Your Birthdate: November 23
- You're not good at any one thing, and that's the problem.
- You're good at so much - you never know what to do.
- Change is in your blood, and you don't stick to much for long.
You are destined for a life of travel and fun.

Your strength: Your likeability
Your weakness: You never feel satisfied
Your power color: Bright yellow
Your power symbol: Asterisk
Your power month: May

believe me, i'm especially careful of where i fall now that i've seen that movie. yikes!
thanks for your comment on my blog.
the doggies frolicking on the beach are so cute!
good luck on finishing the baby knitting. haha...i knit a hat for my nephew when he was first born. i'd never knitted for a baby before, and so estimated that his head would be as big as my two fists put together. the hat fit a navel orange, but was too small for my nephew's head. oops.

I love the piccy of the dogs in the surf. We live near the beach but it is a gulf, and only have waves in wild weather. We miss the surf which is why we head north every holiday.
Hope you get your project done for Christmas
